Asbestos Contracts Manager

Our client are seeking a Asbestos Manager to join their team in Dublin. Our client is a market leading, multi-service provider to the industrial, public, manufacturing, utility and health sectors

Role and Responsibilities

You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Irish asbestos regulations, overseeing safe practices, and safeguarding the health and safety of employees, clients and the public. The successful candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of industry regulations, exceptional leadership capabilities and a strong commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and environmental responsibility.

• Supervise and coordinate the team engaged in removing asbestos;
• Assist in removal activities;
• Complete and maintain project records;
• Monitor and inspect quality of work during projects;
• Inspect work site, alongside H&S Manager;
• Ensure that legislative requirements are maintained at all times;
• Share knowledge and best practice techniques with team.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

The ideal candidate will hold the P402, P403, P404 or equivalent qualifications and will have extensive experience in managing asbestos projects across a range of different industries.
• Previous experience working within the asbestos industry is essential.
• Strong technical knowledge and experience on site.
• Thorough understanding of Irish asbestos regulations, guidelines and best practices.
• Proficient in using Microsoft office.
• Full Drivers licence
