CAD Technician – Industrial & Pharma

Sonas Technical is currently seeking an experienced CAD Technician to join a leading engineering firm in Dublin. The successful candidate will receive an excellent remuneration & benefits package and a clear path for career progression.

CAD Technician

Responsibilities

• Creation/Update of P&ID’s & Schematics
• Creation/Update of HVAC A&ID’s
• Creation/Update of Electrical schematics/line diagrams
• Incorporating instructions & mark-ups from other engineers/designers
• Preparation of final design packages
• Coordinating with team members
• Performs routine tasks using well-defined standards and procedures

Qualifications/Experience

• Certificate in Computer Aided Design from City & Guilds or equivalent
• 6+ years of experience required
• Strong work ethic with good communications skills required for working on projects
• The candidate must have experience with Pharma, Bio-Tech, Life Science industries
• Capable in time management / schedule driven
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality a must
• Proficient use of AutoCAD software is essential
• Experience in the use of smart P&ID software such as CADWorx PID is of benefit.
• Database experience is also of benefit
