Design Engineer

Our client is seeking a Design Engineer to join their team in Dublin.  Our client is a leader in the research, development, sales and distribution of airflow management and infrastructure solutions for data centres.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and synchronize BIM models and CAD Drawings for strategic initiatives spanning EMEA.
• Innovate and enhance current products while spearheading the creation of new ones.
• Generate comprehensive drawings, precise cutting lists, and additional production-related data.
• Collaborate closely with Design units, both locally and globally, striving to standardize design norms for key clients.
• Maintain a strong partnership with the manufacturing division.
• Provide technical assistance to the Strategic Accounts team in EMEA, as necessary.
• Conduct on-site visits to construction sites for surveys.
• Fulfill any additional reasonable responsibilities as requested, recognizing that your job title is not restrictive in defining your role.

Requirements:

• Holds a degree in Engineering or Architectural Technology.
• Demonstrates professional background within construction or manufacturing sectors.
• Prior engagement in a comparable position is advantageous.
• Indispensable proficiency in 3D modeling (SolidWorks/Revit).
• Displays aptitude for critical analysis and solution finding.
• Exhibits exceptional leadership and decision-making aptitude.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient grasp of Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) services.
• Capable of working autonomously and collaboratively.
• Possesses a complete Irish/EU driving license.
• Occasional international travel anticipated.
