Mechnical Design Engineer

Sonas Technical are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer to work with our client, a leading manufacturer for the processing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership in the design to construction elements of the Mechanical and Process elements
• Ensure Engineering standards are complied with throughout the installation
• Ensure that all Mechanical components are procured and delivered as per design specifications
• Answer RFIs’s from the Mechanical Contractor
• Provide all supporting Mechanical details for CQV team to prepare Qualification documentation
• Ensure contractor turnover packs are right first time

Key Requirements:

• Mechanical Engineering degree required
• 3+ years experience in a similar role
• Demonstrate technical leadership and assurance services to our clients and project teams
• Able to demonstrate management of changing deadlines and priorities
• Outgoing personality with a strong desire to learn
• Working experience of Solidworks
• Is a self-starter, can manage multiple tasks, and work with minimal supervision
• Strong Computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet)
