We are in search of a Senior Electrical Engineer to join an international M&E Consultancy in Limerick. This person will drive positive change and provide mentorship to fellow engineers within their team, ensuring the highest standard of engineering excellence. As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will be expected to possess a comprehensive grasp of both theoretical and practical aspects of your engineering discipline, along with a robust understanding of other disciplines offered by the company. You will play a pivotal role in spearheading and managing comprehensive Electrical Designs across projects of varying scales.

Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee complete Electrical Design aspects for projects of varying magnitudes, consistently upholding exceptional client service.
- Ensure quality control for Electrical Engineering projects across all offices.
- Manage project budgets effectively.
- Oversee both project teams and cross-functional teams within the organizational structure.
- Travel to project sites and client locations as required for meetings, surveys, training, etc.
- Collaborate closely with other offices as necessary.
Requirements
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Proficient in using Amtech, Relux/Dialux.
- Strong comprehension of both theoretical and practical aspects of your engineering discipline, coupled with a firm grasp of other company-offered disciplines.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects concurrently, demonstrating prioritization and meticulous planning.
- Proficiency in integrating other building disciplines during the design and construction of buildings.
- Exceptional attention to detail, coupled with strong interpersonal skills and commercial awareness.
- Over 6 years of experience in Building Services Consultancy Design.
- Demonstrated track record in delivering intricate designs throughout the entire design cycle.
- Expertise in various Electrical design domains, including Lighting & Emergency Lighting, Small Power and Data, Fire alarms, CCTV & Intruder Alarms, MV/LV Power Distribution, Containment and BMS.
- Proven leadership capabilities in managing both internal and external project aspects, ensuring client satisfaction, project profitability, and upholding EDC’s reputation for securing repeat business.
- Exhibiting leadership traits while working collaboratively as part of a team.
- Proficiency in making well-considered, prompt decisions during project execution.
