Senior Electrical Engineer

We are in search of a Senior Electrical Engineer to join an international M&E Consultancy in South Dublin. This role presents an opportunity to drive positive change and provide mentorship to fellow engineers, fostering a culture of engineering excellence. As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring top-tier Electrical Designs across projects of various sizes, leveraging your comprehensive knowledge of both the theoretical and practical aspects of your engineering discipline.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Proficiency in Amtech, Relux/Dialux.
• A robust understanding of both the theoretical and practical dimensions of your engineering discipline, complemented by a solid grasp of other disciplines offered by the company.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage concurrent projects, showcasing exceptional prioritization and meticulous planning.
• Skill in integrating other building disciplines during the design and construction phases.
• Exceptional attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and a keen sense of commercial awareness.
• Over 6 years of experience in Building Services Consultancy Design.
• Proven track record of delivering intricate designs across the complete design cycle.
• Expertise in various Electrical design domains, including Lighting & Emergency Lighting, Small Power and Data, Fire alarms, CCTV & Intruder Alarms, MV/LV Power Distribution, Containment, and BMS.
• Proven leadership capabilities in managing both internal and external project facets, ensuring client satisfaction, project profitability, and upholding EDC’s reputation for securing repeat business.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities while working collaboratively within a team.
• Proficiency in making well-considered, prompt decisions during project execution.
