  • Purchase equipment, materials and services
  • Liaison with Suppliers and Accounts Payable team re First Time Match, manage cash flow etc. invoice queries are resolved in a timely manner and root cause identified
  • Obtaining quotations, placing orders with suppliers at agreed rates and terms
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers
  • Source new Suppliers and negotiate prices
  • Create and Monitor Procurement Schedules
  • Source new Suppliers and negotiate prices
  • Management Information: preparation of reports on Purchasing activities
  • Liaise with commercial / bid departments during tenders
  • General purchasing administrative duties as required
  • Any other ad hoc duties associated with that role
  • Competitive benchmarking and trend analysis
  • Contract management and administration


  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role in the Construction & Engineering sector
  • Third level qualification in procurement or supply chain management would be advantageous
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly in MS Excel
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Close attention to detail
  • Working in a fast-paced office with strict deadlines
