Our Client, a medium size building & civil engineering contractor is looking for a Civils Site Manager to join their team initially on a Windfarm in Co. Offaly. The successful candidate will be part of a growing company working on Building & Civil Engineering Projects throughout Ireland. This is a full time, permanent position and an excellent opportunity to join a progressive company who carry out large scale projects around Ireland.

  • Plan the delivery of the project at hand with the site management team
  • Mentor & supervise a team, while also being hands-on; helping to set-out etc
  • Checking setting out work
  • Supervision of sub-contractors and trades
  • Liaise with architects, client and stakeholders
  • Report progress on projects to project manager, maintain and update project reporting to a high standard.
  • Co-ordinate required materials and labour


  • Degree in Engineering/Construction related discipline
  • 5+ years engineering experience on civils projects, in a main contracting environment
  • Knowledgeable and confident in dealing with clients and other project teams
  • Excellent programming and reporting skills
  • Tier 1 experience desirable
  • Highly computer literate in relevant tools, including MS Office, project programming & analysis tools
