The successful candidate will be responsible for translating architectural designs into comprehensive construction and manufacturing drawings, ensuring precision and adherence to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate detailed construction and manufacturing drawings for timber frame structures.
• Ensure that drawings accurately represent design intent and comply with relevant building codes and regulations.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to integrate structural and mechanical systems into drawings.
• Assist in selecting appropriate materials for timber frame construction.
• Provide technical input regarding timber frame design and material selection.
• Ensure compliance with company quality standards and sustainability objectives.
• Conduct quality checks on drawings to identify and rectify errors or discrepancies.
• Review shop drawings and manufacturing processes to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Maintain high standards of quality and precision in all deliverables.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and manufacturing personnel, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Communicate effectively to resolve design issues and provide technical support.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Architectural Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience in preparing construction and manufacturing drawings, preferably in timber frame construction.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations related to timber frame construction.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate and precise drawings.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
