Our client are seeking an Assistant Site Manager to join their team in Mayo. Our client is a leading off-site construction company working across residential, commercial, hospitality, and educational projects.

  • Collaborate with the site management team to oversee and supervise off-site construction projects.
  • Assist in the planning and scheduling of project activities to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
  • Monitor and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe and secure work environment, adhering to Health & Safety regulations and company policies.
  • Assist in the interpretation and communication of construction drawings, technical documents, and project requirements.
  • Participate in quality control processes to ensure that construction work meets established standards.
  • Provide support in managing project budgets, costs, and resource allocation.
  • Assist in resolving any on-site issues or conflicts that may arise during construction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate effective communication and project coordination.
  • Contribute to maintaining accurate project records, including progress reports, documentation, and relevant correspondence.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to enhance knowledge and contribute to project improvement.


  • A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in construction, preferably with exposure to off-site construction methods.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and practices in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in using construction management software and tools is a plus.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Full Irish Driving Licence
