My client, one of the top consulting engineering firms in Ireland are looking for a BID Administrator for the site in Cork.

This role can be based in any of our offices – Ireland: Cork, Dublin, Limerick or Galway

To support our expansion and enhance our market presence, we are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated BID Administrator to join their team. As a BID Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in growing and shaping the company’s brand and contributing to their overall success


  • Ownership of the company end-to-end bid process from RFI/PQQ stages through to Tender
  • Ownership of the Irish Public Tender process
  • Actively work with Directors to identify target markets to assist with the strategic business growth plan
  • Actively work with Directors to understand and strategically manage active bid pipeline
  • Carry out, own and deliver focused lead generation for target client lists
  • Working closely with the engineering teams in the development of high-quality professional responses and submissions
  • Building and developing strategic partnerships with the wider commercial team, capabilities, commercial, finance and delivery, with the clear objective of integrating and promoting bid function within the wider Business Development capability.
  • Act as a single point of customer contact for bid team.
  • Custodian of bid master files, including internal and customer documentation and correspondence.
  • Production of final submissions and customer documentation.
  • Develop strategic messaging, win themes, strategies, and creative design approaches.


  • 3rd Level qualification in business, marketing, communications or related field.
  • 3+ years of office experience; industry relevant experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office essential.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and work well with a variety of staff.
  • Effective time management skills and able to prioritise multiple tasks and deliverables.
  • Visually literate with strong verbal and graphic skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Capable of working in a team setting, as well as independently.
  • A strong work-ethic, flexibility and a creative approach to problem solving are essential.
