Our client, a growing tier 2 Civils contractor are currently seeking a Bid Administrator to join their team based out of their head office in Naas Co. Kildare. This is a Full Time, Permanent Position which offers a great package including hybrid working and flexible working hours with excellent opportunities for career progression.

Sales/Bid Stage:

  • Set up new Requests for Tender (RFT) on our Document Management System (SharePoint).
  • Download and verify the completeness of Tender Packs received from clients and tender portals, primarily using E-tenders.
  • Monitor and stay updated on new RFTs, amendments, and updates from various clients, and inform the Tendering team accordingly.
  • Assemble, collate, and publish documents for Tender submissions and similar bids, ensuring submission by the deadline to the client or portal. This involves liaising with various internal disciplines such as estimators, engineers, SHEQ personnel, management, and outsourced specialists.
  • Prepare and submit prequalification bids, including Suitability Assessment Questionnaires published by the Office of Government Procurement.
  • Maintain a library of company data for use in tenders and pre-qualifications.
  • Administer the company website, LinkedIn, and other marketing documents and submissions.
  • Collaborate with external specialists to prepare presentations, brochures, graphic designs, etc.


  • Procure and manage the company’s principal ICT hardware (PCs, multifunction machines, plotters, etc.) and software, ensuring proper licensing.
  • Liaise with software maintenance providers to manage the company’s cloud-based networks across various platforms, including MS Office, SharePoint, Revu, Autodesk, and Primavera P6, as well as oversee cybersecurity.
  • Ensure specialist software used for estimating, accounting (Sage), surveying, and other construction-specific applications are managed by the relevant disciplines.
  • Set up new libraries, subsites, and manage the company’s Document Management System (DMS) for both construction projects and other business processes on the platform.
