We are currently in search of a BIM Coordinator to join our client to work on a range of multi-disciplined projects in Dublin. This is a full-time position, with the flexibility to be either site-based or located at our clients Dublin offices. The role offers significant professional development opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the delivery of information requirements outlined in the EIR (Employer’s Information Requirements) and enforce compliance with the BIM Execution Plan.
  • Receive and maintain information related to the Project Information Model.
  • Review information exchanges within the common data environment.
  • Collaborate continuously with multi-discipline BIM Coordinators.
  • Execute spatial coordination processes to optimize project efficiency.
  • Monitor and report on the coordination process.
  • Utilize reality capture tools and software, such as laser scanning, to verify site installations.
  • Manage the compilation and input of asset information into the Asset Information Model for handover.
  • Provide support to the Design Manager in design and project delivery.
  • Assist in coordinating the design team and specialist subcontractors.
  • Participate in BIM coordination meetings and workshops, both as an attendee and host.
  • Confirm suppliers’ capacity to meet project BIM requirements.

Requirements:

  • Possess a third-level qualification in BIM or in Engineering/Architecture along with additional BIM qualification or training.
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar BIM role.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of BIM tools and digital design coordination.
  • Exhibit proficiency in document management systems and Common Data Environments (CDEs) such as Aconex, BIM360, or others.
  • Show a strong attention to detail and a solution-driven approach.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills and effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Be self-motivated with a commitment to ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to project timelines.
  • Work effectively as part of a team.
  • Hold a full driving license.
