We’re assisting leading and innovative manufacturing company in their search for  an experienced Business Development Manager in Meath.

We are looking for a results-driven Technical Sales Manager who will play a crucial role in securing new business opportunities for the company nationwide. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client relations, identifying potential opportunities, and driving business development efforts. The Technical Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth by leveraging technical expertise and industry knowledge to promote their precast concrete products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy and Planning:
    • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and market share growth.
    • Identify and prioritize target clients, market segments, and geographic regions.
  2. Technical Expertise:
    • Possess in-depth knowledge of products, manufacturing processes, and applications.
    • Provide technical guidance to clients and internal teams, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of customer needs.
  3. Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and nurture relationships with key clients, architects, engineers, and contractors.
    • Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and recommend suitable precast concrete solutions.
  4. Business Development:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the construction industry.
    • Actively participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking activities to expand the company’s market presence.
  5. Proposal Development:
    • Prepare and present compelling technical proposals and presentations to clients.
    • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure accurate and effective communication of technical details.
  6. Market Intelligence:
    • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands.
    • Provide regular market feedback to internal teams for product and service enhancements.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in technical sales within the precast concrete industry.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and project lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
