Join our Clients team as their new Carbon Manager and play a pivotal role in shaping the sustainability landscape for a leading enterprise in the construction sector across Ireland, the UK, and Europe. As the Carbon Manager, you will spearhead a comprehensive sustainability strategy in collaboration with our operational teams. Your expertise will be instrumental in steering the business towards meeting carbon reduction targets and realizing our net-zero and sustainability objectives. With exposure to cutting-edge projects spanning from the Arctic Circle to the Adriatic Sea, you will be at the forefront of industry transformation.
In this role, you will:
– Promote Sustainability Strategy: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to champion the sustainability strategy. Provide guidance, initiate action, and lead efforts to develop effective carbon reduction strategies.
– Manage Life Cycle Carbon Assessments: Review and oversee a portfolio of client Life Cycle Carbon Assessments through cross-functional collaboration, ensuring accurate assessment and reduction of carbon footprints.
– Develop Carbon Management Procedures: Create and integrate carbon management procedures into relevant management systems, aligning with established standards and reporting frameworks such as Science Based Targets, PAS 2080, and TM65.
– Support Training and Workshops: Contribute to the delivery of training sessions, briefings, and workshops as needed, fostering a culture of awareness and sustainability within the organization.
