Civil Site Engineer

Our client are seeking a Civil Site Engineer to join their team across sites in Northern Ireland. Our client are a leading Civil Engineering company, delivering high quality and civil engineering project across the UK and Ireland.

The successful candidate will work on clean and wastewater projects across NI.

Responsibilities

• Interpreting and comprehending construction drawings onsite, effectively communicating layout details and material measurements.
• Ensuring precision in setting out by establishing accurate lines, levels, and reference points on the construction site.
• Exerting positive influence on site progress, guaranteeing the timely achievement of project milestones.
• Cultivating strong professional relationships and adeptly managing interactions with clients and subcontractors.
• Collaborating closely with fellow team members to uphold Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety standards throughout the project phase.
• Continuously advancing industry knowledge, sharing and implementing best practices with supervisors and relevant personnel.
• Upholding compliance with the Integrated Management System (IMS) requirements, policies, and procedures.
• Undertaking any additional responsibilities as required.

Requirements

• A degree in Civil Engineering or other industry related qualification.
• 2-3+ years relevant on the ground experience.
• Experience within the water sector is desirable
• Numeracy and IT skills including MS Office, Word and Excel.
• A full, valid driving licence.
• Must be able to use their own initiative, taking accountability and responsibility for a project from start to finish.
• Deadline driven, instilling motivation in the team to hit key targets.
• Excellent communication skills and good general commercial awareness.
