Civil Site Foreman

Sonas Technical are currently seeking a Civil Site Foreman for a Residential project based in North Wicklow.  Experience with Groundworks and Residential projects would be beneficial. You will be joining the team on an initial on a Residential project with further Civils projects to follow in the region. This is a full-time, permanent position for the successful candidate and you will be based on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise on site personnel ensuring a safe working environment at all times
• Manage the labour resources on site to ensure efficient working & supervise daily activity
• Oversee trades and labour on site
• Ensure records and logs are up to date for all site activity
• Management of site staff
• Assisting with the planning of labour & material resources
• Equipment purchasing as required
• Checking all materials/modules before installation
• To assist in ensuring systems are handed over to the client
• Inspecting work before handover
• Inspecting and assessing the work done by the trades and labour

Requirements

• 3 – 5+ years relevant experience and a proven track record for delivering logistically challenging projects.
• Full Irish Driving Licence
• Safe Pass & Manual handling, other certifications beneficial
• Good IT skills and computer literacy, proficient in the use of MS Word/Excel/Outlook
• Strong work ethic and desire to work in a team environment.
• Ability to coordinate a number of varied projects.
