Civil Structural Revit Technician

Our client, a global consulting, engineering and construction management company operating mainly in the Pharma & BioPharma sectors are seeking to hire an experienced Civil Structural Revit Technician to to join the practice to work on a wide variety of Pharmaceutical and Life Science projects both in Ireland and Europe.

The successful applicant will be a member of the CSA Department and have strong design and technical experience in addition to excellent communications skills, with the ability to help manage projects through all stages. This is a busy, energetic and supportive practice, suited to motivated professionals. A strong interest in all aspects of the construction industry would be expected.

Responsibilities

• Fully proficiency / high degree of competence in BIM/Revit is essential
• Create high-quality detailed technical drawings and plans based on designs supplied by designers and make modifications to existing drawings
• Modelling and production of drawings using Revit to include general arrangements, foundations, details in Concrete and Steelwork, RC Detailing an advantage
• Use a variety of CAD software programmes to create designs in 2D and 3D models
• Liaise with engineers, and designers to understand their design requirements and provide technical advice to manufacturing and construction technicians
• Provide accurate, detailed and to scale drawings
• Ensure drawings are compliant with industry and health and safety standards and protocolS
• Conduct site visits and surveys when required
• Present working drawings for use in all stages of the project, tender, manufacture/construction, and installation
• Display strong communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.

Minimum educational requirements:

• Certificate in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent.
