Civil Structural Technician – Rathcoole

Our client, a global consulting, engineering and construction management company operating mainly in the Pharma & BioPharma sectors are seeking to hire an experienced Civil Structural Revit Technician to to join the practice to work on a wide variety of Pharmaceutical and Life Science projects both in Ireland and Europe.

The successful applicant will be a member of the CSA Department and have strong design and technical experience in addition to excellent communications skills, with the ability to help manage projects through all stages. This is a busy, energetic and supportive practice, suited to motivated professionals. A strong interest in all aspects of the construction industry would be expected.

Minimum educational requirements:

Certificate in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent.

Job Requirements:

·Fully proficiency / high degree of competence in BIM/Revit is essential

· Create high-quality detailed technical drawings and plans based on designs supplied by designers and make modifications to existing drawings

·Modelling and production of drawings using Revit to include general arrangements, foundations, details in Concrete and Steelwork, RC Detailing an advantage

·Use a variety of CAD software programmes to create designs in 2D and 3D models

·Liaise with engineers, and designers to understand their design requirements and provide technical advice to manufacturing and construction technicians

·Provide accurate, detailed and to scale drawings

·Ensure drawings are compliant with industry and health and safety standards and protocols

·Conduct site visits and surveys when required

Present working drawings for use in all stages of the project, tender, manufacture/construction, and installation

·Display strong communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
