Our client, one of Ireland’s leading builder and contractor, is seeking a Civils Project Manager to join their team in Dublin.

Responsibilities
- Prepare project schedules, method statements, and submissions.
- Create the contract schedule, collaborating with the Estimating Department from the bidding phase.
- Lead start-up and production meetings, assigning suitable team members with the Regional Director’s input.
- Coordinate the subcontract procurement schedule with the QS.
- Draft preliminary plans, considering health and safety requirements.
- Generate reports and attend Design Team Progress Meetings.
- Ensure that the project team and supply chain possess the necessary health and safety skills and competencies.
- Oversee consultant and subcontractor design activities, adhering to the contract and BIM strategy.
- Develop and implement the Project Execution Plan, emphasizing health, safety, and quality.
- Manage information flow and schedules for required information.
- Safeguard the company’s contractual position through correspondence and notifications.
- Monitor overall site progress against the schedule.
- Coordinate schedules with subcontractors and monitor their progress.
- Prepare extension of time applications in collaboration with the QS.
- Ensure efficient site operations and proactively address potential issues.
- Generate and deliver Cost-Value Reconciliation (CVR) and monthly reports as needed.
- Manage subcontractors, including progress meetings and pre-order meetings.
- Supervise the Quantity Surveyor (QS) and Site Manager (SM).
- Control operating budgets and authorize expenditures, subcontractor appointments, changes, and monthly commercial reports.
Requirements
- Relevant Third Level Qualification
- Ideally chartered
- IOSH or equivalent H&S management training
- Articulate and numerate
- 5 years’ experience working in a similar role
- Commercial Awareness
- Team Building and Leadership
