Civils Site Foreman

We are seeking experienced Civils Site Foreman to join our client in Wicklow on a Road redevelopment project. As a Civil Site Foreman you will be responsible for the successful delivery of the Project or Projects assigned to you from a budget, programme & Health & Safety prospective from concept through to handover. Our client is an award-winning and innovative contractor providing project solutions for the Road, Rail and wastewater industry including design, construction, commissioning, operation and maintenance. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Responsibilities:

• Liaising with the PM, Design Team & Client
• Managing Subcontractors, engineering and operational staff and personnel on site and
• Supporting the Project Manager in delivering the project on time and within budget
• Managing and implementing the Safety Management System
• The management of all construction activities
• Plan programme works
• Dealing with Local Authorities and Engineers
• Dealing with Quality Control and Safety on Site

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ site experience
• Relevant 3rd level Degree would be advantageous
• Previous Utilities experience
• Previous main contracting experience would be beneficial
• IT literate – emails, reports, management systems
• Computer literate in Microsoft Office Package
• Excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrate a high degree of responsiveness
• Must be flexible and open to travel
