Contracts Manager

Our client are currently seeking a Contracts Manager to join their team in Cork. Our client are one of Ireland’s leading Building Services Engineering Contractors. They specialise in the installation and maintenance of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems.

This is a full-time, permanent position and will be based in the South West region.

Key Responsibilities 

• Management of contracts from beginning to completion
• Supervision and Management of project teams on multiple sites
• Ensure project meets deadlines and on budget
• Attend client and team meetings with weekly progress reports
• Assist in the negotiation and management of contracts
• Assist the EHS Director to ensure the project is in accordance with H&S protocols
• Work closely with the Directors and Site Teams to support and recommend strategies, to identify any potential risks or issues and to find an appropriate resolution
• Issue regular progress reports for Senior Management/Directors
• Work collaboratively with Senior Management to continue to achieve business needs

Key Requirements 

• 3rd level qualification in Building Services/Mechanical Engineering
• 8 – 10+ years previous experience within Building services or Mechanical Engineering
• Previous experience with a Mechanical Contractor
• Ability to lead teams and organise projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work on own initiative
