We are currently seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join our client in Dublin. The client in question are a leading Civils Contractor with operations across the region. They are currently seeking a Contracts Manager to join their team in Dublin for Water/Wastewater projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact, overseeing multiple projects in urban and rural environments, with a focus on urban settings.
  • Demonstrate a commercial perspective when assessing projects.
  • Proficiently detail costs, completion values, and claims narratives.
  • Cultivate successful relationships with Clients, Client Representatives, and third-party providers and stakeholders.
  • Skillfully create, analyze, and scrutinize detailed drawings for value engineering and efficient design.
  • Review design briefs and develop comprehensive design packs from concept to detailed designs, considering environmental, archaeological, and other relevant aspects.
  • Compose and convey regular reports for status updates and provide guidance across the business to direct necessary actions.
  • Efficiently manage an existing team, utilizing strong communication and leadership skills that are both effective and motivational.
  • Coordinate seamlessly with staff at multiple levels, various departments, clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Show interest in enhancing current team structures and processes, while also introducing new personnel to the company and establishing relationships with new external supply chains.

Qualifications:

  • Full clean driver’s license essential.
  • A relevant qualification is desirable.
  • Experience with UK or Irish Water Standards (Potable & Foul) essential.
  • Experience with MEICA (Mech & Elec), HDD and non-invasive methodologies essential.
  • Experience with works associated with GCC/FIDIC/NEC forms of Contract.
  • Experience with structures, buildings, and general civils, associated with the Water or Power Industry i.e. Steel framed buildings, or RC structures.
  • Confident, motivated and can work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines.
  • Time management abilities to meet targets.
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Integrity and respect for confidentiality and privacy.
