Contracts Manager (Structural) – Southeast

We are are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Contracts Manager, to join a leading CE marked structural steelwork contractor in Ireland and the UK, based in Wexford. An excellent remuneration package is available for the right individual.

Key Responsibilities:

• Main point of contact for full project life cycle from tender stage through construction and handover
• Ensuring that the requirements of the projects are clearly articulated to staff
• Monitoring progression made towards KPI’s and ensuring that targets are met
• Ensuring the delivery of project deadlines
• Manage and maintain high levels of customer service in terms of meeting client expectations
• Ensure the delivery of projects on time
• Maintain strong relationships with key vendors and subcontractors
• Develop and implement key processes to support growth and improve service levels
• Development of staff including performance appraisals and involvement in the recruitment process with HR, if necessary
• Risk tracking throughout the projects including risk identification and mitigation

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years experience in a similar managerial role is essential
• Experience in estimating, supply chain and project management
• A leader and motivator
• Strong client facing skills and commercial acumen
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent IT skills and an ability to use cloud systems
• Proven experience managing and delivering high quality, medium to large scale project
