Our client, a Market Leader in Construction & Engineering Services are seeking a Document Controller in County Cork.

The specific responsibilities and requirements for the Document Controller position are as follows:

Specific Responsibilities:

  1. Project Document Plan Management: Organize and maintain the Project Document Plan and provide timely updates to the project team.
  2. Quality Check: Ensure the quality of all documentation before sharing it with the client.
  3. Technical Document Preparation: Assist in the preparation of technical documents related to the project.
  4. Distribution: Distribute reports and updates to project teams as necessary.
  5. Meeting Minutes: Record and issue project meeting minutes when required.
  6. Document Storage: Store documentation in accordance with Project Management and Document Control procedures.
  7. Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality with sensitive information in compliance with legal regulations.
  8. Document Management System: Provide guidance to users on the correct usage of the document management system to ensure consistency.
  9. Audit Support: Assist with audit preparation and provide support during audits.
  10. Ad Hoc Tasks: Participate in ad hoc project work and other administrative duties as requested by the Project Management Team.
  11. Day-to-Day Support: Provide day-to-day support to the project team and ensure that quality systems are executed appropriately according to requirements.

Requirements:

  1. Experience: Ideally possess 2 years of experience working in a Document Controller/Project Administration position, preferably in an engineering or construction environment.
  2. Familiarity: Familiarity with Quality Standards and Document Control Procedures.
  3. Organizational Skills: Excellent planner and organizer with strong communication skills.
  4. Team Player: Be a dependable team player with strong leadership skills.
  5. Prioritization: Ability to prioritize workload effectively.
  6. Attention to Detail: Display a high level of attention to detail in all tasks.
  7. Self-Motivation: Be self-motivated and able to work independently and take initiative as needed.
