A leading engineering and architecture consultancy are looking for a talented and driven Technical Manager with EIA experience across infrastructure projects to join our Environmental Compliance team.

You could be based in offices in Cork, Dublin or Limerick or alternatively work remotely.

Key Activities:

  •  project manage a range of environmental projects
  • liaising with clients, regulators and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of environmental deliverables.
  • Provide expert environmental advice relating to environmental assessment and management into design and construction of major infrastructure projects in the private sector.
  • Prepare and submit Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) screening and scoping,
  • Cross sell our multi-disciplinary services along with tendering and winning work.

Key Skills:

  • A sound understanding/capability within the field of EIA in Ireland, across the spectrum of environmental topics
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A proven track record in negotiating and winning work in the local market
  • Knowledge/experience of financial and technical management of projects
  • In-depth knowledge of Irish environmental and planning legislation including case law
  • Experience of working with multi-disciplinary teams on a range of complex environmental projects
  • Good problem solving/contingency planning skills with the ability to find quick, innovative and practical solutions.
  • Ability to use software packages such as MS Office, MS Project, ADMS Roads, ArcGIS etc.
  • A degree in an appropriate subject and be chartered with a relevant professional body such as IEMA, IES or CIWEM
