Financial Accountant

Our client, one of Irelands leading contractors is thrilled to welcome a Financial Accountant to their growing team. This hybrid role entails 3 days at our clients Dublin 22 office and 2 days of remote work each week. As a Financial Accountant, you will take charge of managing accounts for multiple national and international entities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial accounts and reports, adhering to FRS102 accounting standards and company policies.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis, identify trends, and present insightful recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate effectively with the finance team to optimize financial processes and implement best practices.
• Provide valuable support for tax compliance activities, including VAT returns, PAYE/PRSI, and corporation tax (across multiple European jurisdictions).

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of PQE Accounting experience.
• Completion of ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or an equivalent qualification.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably COINS, and advanced skills in MS Office, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
• Prior experience in the construction or engineering industry is highly advantageous.
