Our client is the largest provider of high-performance blister tooling change parts for the pharmaceutical industry here in Ireland and we’re partnered with them in their search for an FP&A Accountant in the Dublin Area.  This is an exciting opportunity to work in one of the fastest-growing sectors in the industry, with an award-winning and innovative company going from strength to strength.

Role Overview:

Following the Private Equity acquisition of our client, we now have an exciting opportunity for an FP&A Accountant to join the team on a full-time permanent basis. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this exciting new role has been created to enhance the reporting and analysis capabilities of the business.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Monthly Reporting – Work closely with the financial controller to deliver a full set of financial reports within agreed deadlines.

Financial Modelling – Take ownership of financial models to maintain and enhance reporting.

Capital Investments – Work closely with departmental heads to produce ROI analysis inline with the group authorisation matrix.

External Stakeholders – Prepare monthly / quarterly reports to external stakeholders and liaise with queries.

Cashflow Reporting – Maintain and enhance weekly cashflow reporting model

Transformation – Opportunity to participate in ongoing business transformational projects, including ERP implementation.

Business Partnering – Act as business partner and work closely with departmental heads to improve financial awareness, budgeting and cost control.

Budgeting – Working closely with the SLT, involvement in annual budgeting cycle.

Forecasting – Development of financial forecasting models.

Debtor Factoring – Assist with implementation and ongoing reporting of the facility.

 

Qualification, Experience & Skills Required:

  • Qualified Accountant with relevant 0 – 3 years PQE.
  • Big 4 experience desirable.
  • Advanced MS Excel & Powerpoint.
  • Excellent systems, process and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in an ever evolving and growing environment.
  • Proven ability in working to and consistently meeting tight deadlines
  • Experienced at analysing and distilling large amounts of data into meaningful and presentable content to support decision making.
