Geotechnical Engineer

Our client, is currently on the lookout for a Geotechnical Engineer to join their team in Dublin. The company in question are a well established Multidisciplinary Engineering Consultancy that are projecting rapid growth this year. The successful candidate will join our clients well-established and growing Geotechnical Team working on a variety of projects. This is a full time, permanent position, with great scope for career progression.

Responsibilities:

• Undertake geotechnical design tasks and projects
• Apply technical knowledge and experience in geotechnical engineering
• Manage and oversee projects across Ireland and Northern Ireland
• Foster effective communication and teamwork with colleagues from diverse backgrounds
• Build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and external agencies
• Exceed client expectations and provide guidance and support
• Deliver projects within specified deadlines
• Utilize planning and organizational skills effectively

Requirements:

• Minimum 2.1 degree or Masters in civil or geotechnical engineering
• Minimum 2  years’ geotechnical design experience
• Chartered engineer or working towards chartered engineer status
• Experience in geotechnical engineering and knowledge of geotechnics and relevant software
• Familiarity with eurocodes and current engineering codes of practice
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Deep understanding of geotechnical engineering principles and earthworks
• Strong problem-solving and innovative thinking abilities
