Graduate Civil Engineer

Sonas Technical are currently on the lookout to recruit a Graduate Civil Engineer to join one of Ireland’s leading Contractors operating in the Water Utility space. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated and driven to progress their career as an Engineer. The successful candidate will be initially working on a Project in Kerry & Munster. This is a full time, permanent position, with great scope for career progression.

Responsibilities 

• Assisting the Project Engineers with the Day to Day challenges on-site
• Assisting Project Engineers with Site Surveying and Mapping
•  Attending Site Production Meetings
• Liaising with Clients, Statutory Bodies and 3rd Parties
• Assisting the Project Engineers with the drafting of Method Statements
• Carrying out take-offs, for the procurement of materials which are required for the project
• Completion of Health and Safety Inductions and Filing Records on site
• Assisting the Project Engineers with the Site Management of sub-contractors, suppliers, etc.

Requirements 

• Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electronical or Environmental Engineer
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Strong analytical and technical skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and represent the company
