Graduate Mechanical Engineer

Sonas Technical are currently recruiting for a Graduate Mechanical Engineer for our client, an internationally recognised leader in their field of manufacturing. The successful candidate will work with state of the art facilities, get extensive training and will be based in the Tipperary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Creating Hydraulic Calculations using industry approved software
• Planning project programs/scheduling
• Preparing submittals
• Creating, adjusting and updating ACAD drawings
• Pricing supplier parts for quotations
• Liaise with customers on site to arrange services and extra works

Key Requirements:

• Experience with Solidworks is desirable
• Previous experience working with ACAD and 3D design packages desirable
• Good knowledge of the Microsoft Suite
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Strong analytical and technical skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and represent the company
• Relevant third level qualification (eg: Project Management, Engineering discipline)
• Full Driving License
