Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and oversee the Company’s EHS Management System on the project site.
  • Foster a positive Health and Safety culture among Site Management, Contractors, and workers.
  • Monitor on-site EHS compliance, conducting weekly inspections and generating reports.
  • Cultivate collaborative relationships with the wider project team.
  • Coach and guide the site team in adopting best practice EHS standards.
  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive documents and data control system.
  • Manage and support internal EH&S audit plans, coordinating both internal and external audits.
  • Initiate follow-up actions based on audit findings, ensuring implementation of corrective and preventive measures.
  • Report audit results to the EH&S Manager.
  • Verify and validate the HSE system manual and procedures.
  • Ensure full implementation of the HSE Management system.
  • Supervise and monitor on-site employees and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to EH&S protocols.
  • Represent the organization in EH&S matters on the project site.
  • Possess the authority to halt any unsafe work and instruct corrective actions.
  • Conduct EH&S site inspections in collaboration with site staff to ensure compliance with the EH&S management system, legal requirements, and customer’s HSE-related contractual obligations.
  • Conduct thorough incident investigations, identifying root causes and recommending preventative measures.
  • Document and analyze information on incidents, injuries, near misses, and HSE performance during project execution.
  • Provide EH&S induction training for employees and subcontractor staff on-site.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds a recognized EHS Degree.
  • Proficient in ISO Management Procedures and their implementation.
  • Possesses a NEBOSH qualification.
  • Brings 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Preferred previous experience in Construction (Pharma, Datacentre, Hi-Tech).
  • Demonstrates strong prioritization skills and can manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in IT skills, including MS Office packages and database usage.
  • Thrives in a collaborative team environment and excels in working with others.
