Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and oversee the Company’s EHS Management System on the project site.
- Foster a positive Health and Safety culture among Site Management, Contractors, and workers.
- Monitor on-site EHS compliance, conducting weekly inspections and generating reports.
- Cultivate collaborative relationships with the wider project team.
- Coach and guide the site team in adopting best practice EHS standards.
- Establish and maintain a comprehensive documents and data control system.
- Manage and support internal EH&S audit plans, coordinating both internal and external audits.
- Initiate follow-up actions based on audit findings, ensuring implementation of corrective and preventive measures.
- Report audit results to the EH&S Manager.
- Verify and validate the HSE system manual and procedures.
- Ensure full implementation of the HSE Management system.
- Supervise and monitor on-site employees and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to EH&S protocols.
- Represent the organization in EH&S matters on the project site.
- Possess the authority to halt any unsafe work and instruct corrective actions.
- Conduct EH&S site inspections in collaboration with site staff to ensure compliance with the EH&S management system, legal requirements, and customer’s HSE-related contractual obligations.
- Conduct thorough incident investigations, identifying root causes and recommending preventative measures.
- Document and analyze information on incidents, injuries, near misses, and HSE performance during project execution.
- Provide EH&S induction training for employees and subcontractor staff on-site.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds a recognized EHS Degree.
- Proficient in ISO Management Procedures and their implementation.
- Possesses a NEBOSH qualification.
- Brings 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Preferred previous experience in Construction (Pharma, Datacentre, Hi-Tech).
- Demonstrates strong prioritization skills and can manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficient in IT skills, including MS Office packages and database usage.
- Thrives in a collaborative team environment and excels in working with others.
