Responsibilities of the HR Assistant:
- Employee Records Management: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records using the in-house HRIS system.
- Onboarding: Handling new hire paperwork, contracts, and facilitating the onboarding process for new employees.
- HR Documentation: Preparing and distributing HR-related documents, such as offer letters, contracts, and policy updates.
- Policy Support: Assisting in implementing and communicating company policies and procedures.
- Employee Inquiries: Responding to employee inquiries related to benefits, leave, and other HR matters.
- Training Records: Keeping track of training records and ensuring compliance with mandatory training requirements.
- Employee Development: Supporting employee development and performance management processes.
- Point of Contact: Acting as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing information and guidance.
- Conflict Resolution: Assisting in conflict resolution and mediation when necessary, escalating issues as required.
- Payroll Collaboration: Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee payroll and providing necessary payroll data.
Qualifications Required:
- A 3rd level qualification in HR is essential.
- Previous experience in HR administration, preferably within the construction industry.
- Knowledge of Irish employment laws and regulations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- The ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
