Our Client, a growing Civils contractor are actively searching for a dedicated and seasoned Human Resource Manager/Partner to join their team in Clontarf , Co. Dublin. The ideal candidate will assume the pivotal role of managing all facets of human resources operations, encompassing recruitment and talent acquisition, employee engagement and relations, performance optimization, compensation and benefits administration, and ensuring strict adherence to labor laws and regulations. Moreover, you will play a strategic role as a valued partner to senior management, contributing to the creation and execution of HR policies and procedures that are in perfect alignment with the company’s overarching goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations
  • Oversee recruitment and selection process, including job postings, applicant screening, interviewing, and hiring
  • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management
  • Coordinate employee training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
  • Manage compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and compliance with company policies
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records, including employee files, benefits, and payroll information
  • Liaising with payroll and coordinating leave & holiday entitlements for employees in Ireland, the UK and Sweden.
  • Developing practices to help employees engage and improve morale
  • Stay current with HR trends and best practices and provide guidance to senior management on HR-related matters
  • Foster a positive work environment and promote company culture through effective communication and engagement initiatives
  • Partner with other departments to ensure alignment of HR initiatives with company goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in the construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
