As a Junior CAD Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting our design and engineering projects by creating accurate and detailed technical drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level candidate looking to kick-start their career in the field of CAD and gain hands-on experience in a collaborative work environment.

Junior CAD Technician – Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and create detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings based on project requirements, sketches, and specifications provided by senior engineers and designers.
• Assist in the development of architectural, mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering drawings, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with project teams to understand design objectives, constraints, and timelines.
• Revise and update existing CAD drawings to reflect design changes and revisions accurately.
• Maintain organized project files and documentation, including version control and drawing archives.
• Perform basic design calculations and measurements as needed.
• Assist in preparing design documentation, reports, and presentations.
• Participate in design review meetings and provide input as necessary.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and software updates related to CAD technology.

Junior CAD technician – Qualifications:

• Educational Background: A diploma or degree in a relevant field such as Computer-Aided Design, Engineering Technology, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• CAD Software Proficiency: Familiarity with CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or similar tools is preferred.
• Strong Attention to Detail: Ability to create accurate and precise technical drawings.
• Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills, as you will collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Team Player: Willingness to work closely with senior technicians, engineers, and designers.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and solve technical issues related to CAD drawings.
• Time Management: Capability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new CAD software and tools as required.
• Knowledge of Industry Standards: Understanding of relevant industry standards and regulations is a plus.
