Junior Estimator

We’re working with an ambitious, industry-leading, construction company in their search for a Junior Estimator in Meath. The successful candidate will come from a similar role with a building contractor, or from Commercial Admin role in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the preparation of pre-qualification submissions
• Assisting in the preparation of tender submissions
• Procuring labour & material prices for tenders
• Preparing sub-contractor packages for tenders
• Accessing labour, material & sub-contract prices
• Measuring from drawings
• Populating tender pricing documents
• Assisting in preparation of project handover documentation
• Any other ad hoc duties as required

Requirements

• 2 years’ experience in an Estimating, Quantity Surveying, or Commercial Administrative role
• Highly organised with strong administration experience
• Attention to detail with good numerical ability
• Good reporting and communication skills
• Experience in the construction or industry advantage but not essential
