Our client, a leading Fit-Out specialist is currently seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Louth. The client in question is a up-and-coming, fast-growing SME, that’s on track to double in turnover i n 2024.  They have carved out a niche in the market in commercial fit-out, working with blue chip clients on high-end fitouts, fire proofing etc. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business with opportunity to progress. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Role:

  • Estimating & measuring works
  • Cost monitoring
  • Preparation of interim applications for payments
  • Assisting the Senior Quantity Surveyor in his daily tasks
  • Day to Day commercial management of sub contract packages
  • Compiling and sending out tender enquiries to subcontractors and suppliers
  • Cost analysis of tender prices
  • On-Site valuations and progress reports
  • Monthly cost/value reports and management accounts

Requirements:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
  • 3+ years post grad experience is preferable
  • Previous experience working on Construction or Fit-Out projects
  • Have the ability to work to tight deadlines and budgets
  • Be commercially aware with good client facing skills
