Junior Quantity Surveyor

Our client, an innovative, growing, Mechanical Contractor, is currently on the lookout for a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join the team in Cork.

Role:

• Day to Day commercial management of subcontract register
• Preparation of interim applications for payments
• Compiling and sending out tender enquiries to subcontractors and suppliers
• Cost analysis of tender prices
• Manage subcontractor prequalification forms, insurances and payments
• Negotiating subcontractors and suppliers final accounts
• Assist with monthly cost/value reports
• Manage variation process with subcontractors and clients
• Aid in preparation of Tender Documents for both Public and Private Procurement

Requirements:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• Relevant post-grad experience is preferable but not necessary
• Excellent organisation skills
• Be commercially aware with good client facing skills
