Are you a seasoned Mechanical Design Engineer with 7-9 years of experience, seeking the next exciting career move? Our clients Dublin office has an opportunity for you to join their dynamic, highly skilled engineering team, known for their commitment to customer service, quality, and innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Design Engineering is a minimum requirement.
- A substantial background of 7-9 years in Building Services Consultancy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with thermal modeling, energy assessment, and dynamic energy modeling software is advantageous.
- Knowledge of the commercial sector and experience with BIM are strong assets.
Responsibilities
- A comprehensive understanding of both the theoretical and practical aspects of your engineering discipline, as well as a solid grasp of the company’s other offered disciplines.
- Proven track record in delivering detailed designs throughout the complete design cycle.
- Expertise in various Mechanical design domains, including Water Services, Heating / LTHW, HVAC, Fuel, above-ground drainage, and BMS.
- Strong comprehension of electrical services and their interaction with mechanical systems.
- Deep familiarity with Irish building regulations, especially TGD parts B, F, G, L, and the ability to apply this knowledge to design and project leadership.
- Exceptional multitasking abilities, demonstrating effective prioritization and work planning.
- Capable of leading projects both internally and externally, assuming responsibility for project performance, client satisfaction, project profitability, and maintaining reputation for repeat business.
- Proficiency in understanding other building disciplines in the design and construction of buildings.
- Exhibit leadership qualities while working collaboratively within a team.
- Ability to make timely and well-considered project decisions.
- Outstanding attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Commercially aware and adept.
