Pre-construction Manager

Our client, a leading specialist fit-out contractor is currently seeking a Pre-construction Manager to join their team in Dublin. The client in question is a leading global fit-out contractor operating across a variety of sectors from Commercial to Life Sciences. This is a full-time permenent position with opportunity for progression.

Roles:

• Managing and achieving project goals by coordinating staff and internal resources
• Defining pre-project goals
• Provide contractual advice to the project and proposal teams
• Designing contract-affiliated documents
• Participating in the tender process i.e., design, submission, and review.
• Identity and manage the business unit risk and regularly review project risks
• Manage the close of completed projects to the best commercial advantage of the company
• Regularly review business processes and promote evolution of better working practices
• Optimising and improving quality, processes, and the overall approach where necessary
• To ensure all projects are driven to provide the best value solutions and delivered on time and within budget
• Maintaining relationships with clients
• Sub-Contract and materials procurement management
• Management of the supply chain

Requirements:

• Degree qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Surveying or Commercial Management
• Ability to multitask, overseeing multiple projects concurrently
• Technical awareness, A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data
• 6 – 10 years experience working for a main contractor
