Project Design Engineer

Sonas Technical is currently seeking a Project Design Engineer to join a market-leading client facing EPCM firm. You will have the opportunity to work with a global Project Management company on their pharmaceutical and life science projects in Ireland and Europe.

This role is based in Kildare. Our client is looking for a permanent hire.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee design management and engineering processes.
• Coordinate and manage interfaces within project execution.
• Organize activities related to design and engineering.
• Actively participate in design meetings and reviews with clients.
• Collaborate closely with the Project Manager and technical disciplines.
• Provide crucial support to ensure project success.
• Possess a comprehensive understanding of construction contract documents, including plans, specifications, and schedules.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Structural Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong background in pharmaceutical projects is necessary.
• Demonstrated commitment to carrying out professional work with diligence and adherence to technical and professional standards.
• Ability to consider the interests of stakeholders who will use or benefit from the project’s outcomes.
• Continual maintenance of competence in areas relevant to the company’s work.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with the Engineering Manager and discipline leads, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and task management.
