Project Engineer

Our client, is currently on the lookout for a Project Engineer in Sligo. The company in question are a well established Engineering Consultancy that operate as a multidisciplinary Engineering practice across the private and public sectors in Ireland. The successful candidate will work on public realm and urban infrastructure projects. This is a full time, permanent position, with great scope for career progression.

Responsibilities:

• Produce high quality engineering design for a broad range of projects in the public sector
• Contribute & be a valued member to the project team
• Carry out work in accordance with company ISO 9001 procedures
• Assist in the preparation of planning, tender and construction documents
• Programming of all work deliverables
• Communication with client (daily interface)
• Management of sub-consultants.
• Collaborate with other design disciplines such as architects and urban designers
• Produce and review engineering design plans and contract specifications.
• preparation of tender documents

Requirements: 

• Civil Engineering Degree, Masters advantageous but not necessary
• Experience in Road Design
• Experience in Stormwater Design
• 7+ years experience
• You must be energetic, enthusiastic and take pride in your work
• AutoCAD Civil 3D experience would be desirable
• Chartered Member of Engineers Ireland
