Project Manager

We’re working with a global leader in the Commercial, Retail, and Life Science fitout sectors in their search for a Project Manager in Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of projects, from preconstruction to completion, ensuring on-time schedule delivery, exceeding client satisfaction, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential constructability challenges and provide proactive solutions to mitigate risks
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure seamless project planning
• Take ownership of project schedules, ensuring they are adhered to and milestones are met
• Implement strategies to proactively address delays and minimize disruptions, ensuring on-time project delivery
• Exceed client expectations by maintaining open communication, addressing concerns, and providing regular project updates
• Anticipate client needs and ensure that project goals align with their vision
• Manage day-to-day field operations to ensure construction progress aligns with project plans
• Monitor quality of work, safety compliance, and adherence to project specifications, intervening as needed to maintain standards
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project schedules
• Foster strong working relationships with subcontractors, acting as a relationship manager
• Ensure fair, safe, and clean working environments are maintained on-site, promoting collaboration and efficiency
• Drive the timely completion of snagging items, ensuring a high-quality final deliverable to the client
• Address unexpected challenges and deviations from the project plan promptly and effectively
• Implement solutions that align with project objectives and maintain client satisfaction

Requirements

• 5 + years’ experience as a Project Manager in the internal fitout sector
• Experience overseeing and leading diverse teams of sub-contractors
• Eager to provide exceptional client satisfaction
• A motivator and a team builder
