Project Manager

Our client, a leading engineering solutions contractor is seeking an experienced M&E Project Manager in Dublin for a long-term Healthcare project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the design and engineering teams to review and enhance mechanical system designs, ensuring they align with project objectives and industry best practices.
• Lead the selection and evaluation of subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors for mechanical components and services.
• Develop and manage project schedules, integrating mechanical system installations seamlessly into the overall construction timeline.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, addressing complex mechanical challenges and ensuring compliance with codes and regulations.
• Monitor the construction phase, overseeing mechanical system installations, and conducting regular site inspections to ensure quality, safety, and environmental standards are met.
• Manage budget considerations for mechanical components, working in tandem with the cost control team to adhere to financial targets.
• Foster a culture of safety and sustainability, implementing best practices and ensuring all mechanical activities align with safety protocols and environmental guidelines.

To be successful in your application you will possess the following;

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 7+ years experience
• Proven track record as a Mech or Elec Project Manager in large-scale construction projects, demonstrating successful project delivery.
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and related technologies, along with a strong grasp of relevant codes and regulations.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools, coupled with outstanding organizational and analytical skills.
