Quality Engineer (LEAN Production)

Our client, is currently on the lookout for a Quality Engineer (LEAN Production) for Dublin/Meath. The company in question are a highly respected industry-leading, innovative firm in the Irish construction industry. They have multiple high-profile projects commencing across Dublin and Ireland, the successful candidate will be initially working on Projects in Dublin. This is a full time, permanent position which offers career advancement for the successful candidate.

Responsibilities

• Implement systems and procedures in relation to construction Quality in our factory and site
• Ensure a “ Right First Time “ culture in our factory and site
• Experience in Lean Construction essential
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis in the event of Non Conformances
• Responsible for implementation of a consistent Construction Quality Audit Quality Audit regime
• Work with our factory and Construction Managers to develop Continuous Improvement Programmes
• Identify Quality Control Processes to ensure criteria are met at all times
• Promoting compliance with, and strict adherence to, company quality policy and procedures
• Day-to-day monitoring of quality on-site
• Ensure all QC checks have been completed in a timely manor
• Inspections of materials, liaising with procurement and site teams
• Assisting Line Manager with root cause analysis on non-confirming items
• Drive a right-first-time approach in line with industry best practices
• Site visits to oversee QC during construction stage
• Collaborating with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure that they meeting quality standards
• Produce weekly / monthly Quality reports

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Quality Discipline
• Experience in management and implementation of quality processes
• Required ability to work within a dynamic team of professionals
• Ability to perform multiple tasks at a high level of quality
• Must have an ability to work well within a deadline environment
• Motivated individual that likes to work in a fast-moving environment
• Excellent communication skills
