Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Sonas are seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our client, a multi national M&E Consultancy. This will be a leadership role and will involve driving change and mentoring engineers. As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring best-in-class engineering practices and leading the full Electrical Design on projects of various sizes. A comprehensive understanding of electrical engineering principles.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the complete Electrical Design process for projects, showcasing exceptional client care throughout.
• Provide quality control for Electrical Engineering projects across all offices.
• Implement effective project cost control measures.
• Manage project teams and collaborate with cross-functional teams within the organization.
• Travel to client and project locations as necessary to attend meetings, conduct surveys, and provide training.
• Liaise and collaborate with other offices as required to ensure seamless project delivery.

Requirements:

• Hold a minimum of a degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the theoretical and practical aspects of electrical engineering.
• Excel at multitasking and show the ability to prioritize and plan work effectively.
• Exhibit a good understanding of other building disciplines involved in the design and installation of buildings.
• Attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Commercial awareness.
• Have at least 6 years of experience in Building Services Consultancy Design.
• Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) is advantageous.
• Chartership is desirable
