Senior Engineer

Responsibilities

• As a Senior Engineering Professional, you will play a pivotal role in the efficient execution of construction projects and contribute significantly to their success. Your responsibilities will encompass:

1. Relevant Engineering Qualifications: A degree in engineering that is directly related to the field.
2. Dynamic Team Collaboration: The capacity to function effectively within a dynamic team of professionals, contributing your expertise to collective goals.
3. Exceptional Multitasking Skills: A proven ability to excel while handling multiple tasks, maintaining a consistently high level of quality in your work.
4. Deadline-Driven Approach: Proficiency in working efficiently within a deadline-driven environment, ensuring that tasks are completed on schedule.
5. Substantial Contractor Experience: A track record of at least 8 years’ experience with a prominent Main Contractor in either Ireland or the UK, demonstrating your familiarity with the local industry.
6. Intrinsic Motivation: An innate motivation and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving setting.
7. Outstanding Communication: Strong communication skills that enable effective interaction and collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering/Construction related discipline is desirable but not essential
• 3+ years experience in a similar role (preferably with a main contractor)
• Managing Junior Engineers, must have Strong Setting Out/Levels experience
• Knowledgeable and confident in dealing with clients and other project teams
• Highly computer literate in relevant tools, including MS Office, project programming & analysis tools
