Senior Quantity Surveyor

Our client is currently looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Galway. Our client is an award-winning contractor providing project solutions for the water and wastewater industry.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers on allocated projects
• Represent projects in monthly commercial reviews with clients
• Foster and maintain good working relationships with all clients
• Ensure all commercial obligations under the contract agreements are administered
• Assist in the cost build up and forecasting for projects
• Analyze commercial bids for subcontractors/supplies
• Prepare subcontractor payment certificates on a monthly basis
• Manage a monthly report of cash flow
• Support others within the project as required
• Reporting to Commercial and Managing Director

Requirements

• Qualification in Quantity Surveying
• 2 years experience of medium to large projects within the water industry
• Be able to demonstrate management of change control
• Experience in budget control
• Commercial & contractual awareness
• Attention to detail & structured detail
• Excellent communication skills
