We are currently seeking an experienced Site Agent to join our client in Dublin. The client in question are a leading Civils Contractor with operations across the region. They are currently seeking a Site Agent to join their team in Dublin for Water/Wastewater projects.

Duties:

  • Take charge of various projects in both urban and rural settings.
  • Communicate effectively with Clients and Client Representatives to ensure the successful project delivery and foster strong relationships.
  • Scrutinize drawings with meticulous attention to detail and incorporate feedback into design revisions.
  • Establish a leadership-oriented environment within the project site team.
  • Collaborate with Contracts Manager and Site Agents to oversee work and manage site resource requirements.
  • Meet and exceed customer expectations, instilling confidence and trust.
  • Evaluate and enhance project processes continuously.
  • Innovatively apply new technology to create services and streamline delivery processes.
  • Mentor designers and identify training needs for junior site team members.
  • Monitor site work progress, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.
  • Plan and supervise material deliveries, resolving discrepancies as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with client requirements, safety legislation, and other legal standards.
  • Coordinate with Local Authorities for footway condition inspections pre and post installation works.
  • Work with the workflow department to schedule and program tasks efficiently.
  • Provide clients with status reports and serve as the primary point of contact for the public and subcontractors.
  • Professionally handle customer complaints related to completed work.
  • Collaborate with clients to optimize the value of their infrastructure.
  • Quality control of works.

Experience:

  • Full clean driver’s license essential.
  • A qualification in engineering or equivalent is desirable.
  • Civils, drainage, or utilities (water & electricity) experience.
  • Previous experience and the ability to read designs.
  • Commercially aware of projects costs.
  • Experience with site activities and multiple teams.
  • Good knowledge of HSQE requirements.
  • Good knowledge of ground support systems.
