Our client is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join their team for projects from Dublin down to Wexford.

They are seeking an ambitious Engineer who is interested in eventually leading their own team of Engineers.

The successful candidate must be flexible and willing to travel between sites.

Key Responsibilities:

To interface and work with all major external stakeholders in the delivery of projects. This includes clients, utilities, consultants, sub-contractors, local authorities and statutory bodies as and when required.

The role includes the following tasks:

  • Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the work of any subcontractors.
  • Planning the work efficiently to meet programme deadlines.
  • Liaising with the Project Manager/planner regarding construction programme, programme constraints etc.,
  • Compliance with all safety requirements.
  • Check/understand Specifications, Drawings, and other Contract Documents.
  • Setting out, levelling, and surveying the site in accordance with the Drawings and Specification.
  • Experience in works on large scale utility projects – ESB/Water/Telecoms.
  • CSCS Cards for LUGS & SLG.
  • Experience of working to purple books specification.
  • AutoCAD Experience for extracting information and preparing As-Built Information.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • A Level 8 degree in Civil Engineering is required
  • Minimum 3 years site engineering experience
  • Knowledge of a broad range of civil engineering fields including geotechnics and structural.
